Self-Destructing Notes

Burn after reading notes — message erased the second it's opened

Send confidential messages, sensitive notes, or private confessions without leaving a digital trail. Encrypted client-side in your browser, delivered via a one-time link, and destroyed from our database the instant your recipient reads it.

No account required AES-256-GCM Self-destructs after reading

How to do it

01

Write your note

Type your confidential note into the private field. It is encrypted in your browser with military-grade AES-256 before leaving your computer.

02

Set self-destruct delay

Choose to destroy immediately on opening, or allow a 15–60 second countdown so the reader has time to copy the message.

03

Share the link

Copy the single-use link and share via WhatsApp, Signal, SMS, or email. The link can only be read once.

04

Permanent destruction

The second the reader views the note, the decryption record is purged from memory and disk. Re-opening displays a 404 destroyed notice.

Why burn-after-reading is essential for modern privacy

Traditional messaging apps treat every single message as a permanent archival record. Even with end-to-end encryption, chats accumulate indefinitely in cloud backups, phone storage, and synced desktops.

SnapSend eliminates retention liability entirely. By decoupling message transmission from persistent storage, your confidential communications exist only during the single moment they are read.

Encrypted in your browser

AES-256-GCM happens on your device. The key never reaches our servers.
